WordBRIDGE
Hosted annually by Eckerd College, Becca was fortunate to work in the off shoot of the Sundance Playwright’s Lab, WordBRIDGE. Founded by playwright David Kranes and theatre professor Richard A. Rice, WordBRIDGE screened playwriting submissions from collegiate and graduate playwrights for a month-long lab with actors, directors, dramaturgs, resource artists, and apprentices at their disposal for the development of their piece. Becca spent four January terms at WordBRIDGE as an actor and apprentice, twice serving as Lab Manager. Guests included KC Davis (dramaturg of Angels in America), Tony-nominee Kimberly Scott, resident scenographer of the National Theatre of Sweden, Dan Nemteanu, and actor James Lescene. Numerous plays Becca workshopped have been awarded, published, and produced world-wide.
