National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts
Becca was awarded in theatre Nationally for the first time in 1996 by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts. Held annually in Miami, NFAA auditions young artists and selects 20 people from all over the US in each of 8 artistic disciplines for a week of competition and master classes. Becca’s judges included playwright Timothy Mason and screen legend Betty Garrett. The highlight of the week was the exclusive master class with Sharon Stone. Becca was awarded the Level II award, receiving a cash prize and the opportunity to apply for career grants in the future. Past NFAA winners include Vanessa Williams, Jared Padalecki, and Denyce Graves.
